About Me
Hi! I'm Cindy Luong, an artist and writer based in Seattle, Washington. I make whimsical art that invites you to slow down and look at the world a little more closely. In my debut watercolor collection, If You Look, I painted tiny women inhabiting a vast world with the same insects, birds, and woodland creatures that are small to us, but colossal to them.
Fear, doubt, and playfulness show up in everything I make. Truthfully, there is a part of me that is always afraid to be seen which is why it means so much to me that you are here, seeing me and my art.
